Base Jumping From Kjerag Cliff In Norway
We’ve already wrote about 24+ reasons why Norway should be your next travel destination but if for whatever reason that wasn’t enough, these base jumpers will convince you. Photographer Simen Haughom’s video of the Heliboogie base jumping event was posted on the Spectacular Norway Facebook page, and now it has over 41 million views. The amazing Kjerag cliff has logged over 50,000 jumps since 1994, and in 2017 around 250 adrenalin junkies took off 1,100 times from the almost-3,300-feet drop.

Why. Are. None. Of. Their. Chutes. Opening???? I understand the artistic view of this video but the anxiety in me needs to see them opening!!!!!!!
It doesn't scare (or something like this)me but wonders me too. I think also, it would be more artistic if they would open?
Load More Replies...Why someone would jump off a cliff with nothing more than a sheet in a backpack to save them from death is beyond me...
Mieke, as a former skydiver and USPA "C" rating, you would never catch me base jumping. I'm an adrenaline addict, I would kill myself from taking too many chances there. Just thinking of myself "crashing and burning" at that speed, sends chills down my spine. :O
