I don't much care what Peterson thinks is or is not beautiful. Beauty is subjective, not objective so his opinion is just that... his opinion... and whenever he decides to express his opinion, he generally makes a point of being extremely rude about it. My problem with Peterson is that whenever he doesn't like something, he immediately turns it into an argument about socio-political ideology, as if that's a normal thing to do. If he doesn't find larger women attractive, fine. What that has to do with "authoritarianism" is beyond me. He's simply trying to provoke conflict. In the simplest terms, this allegedly educated, intellectual man has reduced himself to a career as a professional internet troll.

I don't care what her body looks like, but that swimsuit is horrific. I can't imagine anyone looking attractive in that thing, regardless of their shape.

I have no respect for anyone who feels the need to just be mean-spirited. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions but not every opinion should be shared. My maternal grandmother taught me as a child that if I didn't have something nice to say about someone I shouldn't say anything at all. Personally I think this model is indeed beautiful.

How it is beautiful. The definition of beauty might have been changing over decades but to promote fat as beauty is again making an aberration normal. I think people are not aware how many obese kids and teens are now being supported through such a "beauty" statements of fat. Also, it seems that in today's world just one vie is acceptable and one thinking differently is not solicited opinion. And who solicited opinion of Tumi. I didn't. I don't care she is daughter of some DJ. I don't know the name. Is her beauty similar to a DJ being called an artist. Everyone has a right to express opinion still.

It doesn't matter that he doesn't think she's beautiful. And That's the point. The person who owns the magazine decided to have her on the cover. That's their prerogative. And people are allowed to voice their opinion about it. But others are ALSO allowed to voice their opinion of your opinion. He couldn't deal with accountability for his own comments and bounced. Suggesting that someone CANT have a certain person on the cover is the definition of authoritarian intolerance.

Peterson thinks the model is fat. I do too. He is ugly and cadaverous? So what? I am overweight. I'm a man. If for whatever twisted idea they were to put a picture of me in a bathing suit you would see a fat guy in a betting suit. I know that as much as that model knows it. Society wants us to confirm with very broad ideas of beauty. If that today is a 190 lb girl, I guess in 20 years it will be what? A 280lb girl?

He's right though. Who gives him the right to say something? He's obligated to help lead humanity - he's one of our brightest. Most people are too stupid to see that while everyone jumps up and down about feelings or comparing her to him, his point was she is unhealthy and instead of pandering to her and others like her, we should be giving them tough love. Stop f*****g pandering to people. Help them by being honest and they might thank you for it later on. I'm sure the cover-girl would be 30kg lighter if given the choice.

Dear post author, you did well to support your opinion about this tweet by stating your opinion about him. “ The long-time anti-women and anti-trans “public intellectual” is a man with a questionable outlook on life”. Can you even tell us about his “outlook on life”? Or you just have no clue. Then how can you call it questionable? Not even in one of his interviews or speeches has he said something critical and against gay or women. Fat women or men are not healthy. Not healthy - is neither cool nor beautiful. The obesity in US has become such a big problem. But corporations do not want people to eat healthy. So accepting unhealthy lifestyle and obesity as beautiful is great for corporations and for obese people who don’t know better.
