Japanese Felt Artist Combines Art And Technology To Create Creepy Cats (26 Pics)
We love cats in all shapes and we love the crazy ideas you can find on the internet. If you are one of us, this post will make your day!
You've probably heard about Japanese artist Meetissai, who turns funny animal pictures and memes into hilariously weird sculptures. Another Japanese artist known on social media as @sacocho combines wool felt artistry and technology to bring his odd ideas to life. As a result, there are: a Roomba cat, a double-headed cat, a toast-cat, a cat who is also a hat, a cat purse, and many more bizarre needle-felt kitties. All his wild creations are exhibited in a disturbing cat cafe.
One of his most recent creations, a realistic felt cat Roomba, went viral on Twitter with 3.9M views and 198.3k likes. In the video, a cute and terrifying cat responds to calling, glides, rotates its head, and meows—something that could definitely give us nightmares.
Would you want a robot vacuum that looks like a cat? Let us know which strange felt cats you would bring home!
