I’ve Created A Little Set Of Self Portraits Revealing My Biggest Enemy: Insomnia
I’ve been suffering from sleeping disorder for a long time and still couldn’t find a permanent solution. I don’t have trouble falling asleep, but I frequently wake up at night and I never sleep really deep. It feels like part of me is awake all the time, watching my body while it sleeps.
Even though I sleep, my brain continues to work. I dream a lot and the dream slowly approaches reality and in the end it wakes me up. I feel the whole process like I’m not sleeping.
Sometimes I suddenly wake up as if someone shaked my body, but actually it’s only my thoughts that force my brain to wake up…
Fun fact: I wrote this text on one of those nights at 5:30 am.
