I Was Inspired By Renaissance Paintings To Recreate Them With My Family (8 Pics)
I normally photograph breastfeeding mothers in my natural light studio in Scotland but as most of the world right now; normal life is not normal.
I am the worst at photographing my own family and thought there’s nothing like a family lockdown to finally get them in front of my camera.
When I started looking at my favorite pieces of art, it normally included moody looking children. I knew this project was perfect for my lot.
Some pieces I was inspired by, others I wanted to see how close I could get to the original. With a few more weeks of isolation ahead of us, I am looking for more moody faced kids to replicate with my own.

Thank you! I just smoothed the skin and edges in photoshop. I am not expert so i wish i could describe it more technically lol
Oh my gosh, so much talent here. I would love to be able to photograph like this one day.
These have such a good, painterly texture! At first I actually thought they were! And the positions are very accurate.
Thank you! its nice to have them of my own kids for once x
