Fields Of Cows With Bells In The Swiss Mountains

Abu Simbel. No Banana For Size, But Check Out The Tiny People At The Bottom
The temple, originally all set in the surrounding rock, is very impressive with its main staues being more than 20 meters tall. Which is even more impressive is that during the construction of the Nasser Reservoire, the whole temple was taken apart in 1963 and re-assembled about 60 meters higher to prevent it from it being flooded. The "rock" it is set in now is artificial, mainly a steel dome camouflaged with sand and rock, but the temple itself is still the 3000 year old original.
