Equity is what the German health insurance system tries to achieve: Everybody pays the same % of their wages (14,7 if I am not mistaken) into the insurances, but everybody receives the treatment they need, independent from how much you put in. The system is not flawless, of course, because of many reasons. One of them is that higher wages can opt out (they may not return if the wages drop!) and lower wages are more impacted by a percentage than higher. The Dutch try a different approach, everybody pays the same for basic cover (no opt out).
Research has shown that humans naturally process information with visual input. It’s why it is easier for us to read instructions with photos and graphics than in text blocks.
According to the National Library of Medicine (NLM), articles with a visual abstract are three times more likely to draw views.

Experts in the digital industry consider infographics as effective marketing tools. SEO and keyword research platform Semrush defines them as a “compelling blend of visual data and minimalistic text.”
In digital marketing, infographics tell stories. The goal is to turn “complicated” information into something visually appealing and easily understood.

Aluminium will not go away, since it's an inert metal (its affinity towards oxygen just creates protective layer, but otherwise it's the same thing). Good stuff with aluminium is that it's fully recyclable and reusable. But since it's cheap, we don't bother recycling it as much as we should...

Many of the Cool Guides on this list contain data and scientific information. As NLM points out, you can deliver them to a broad audience by creating visuals catering to non-specialists.
This means avoiding too much technical jargon. But if you must include such details, make sure to provide context.

Getting to that sweet spot of images, charts, and texts is key to an infographic’s aesthetic appeal. There must be a balance between data visualizations, words, and pictures.
Experts advise limiting small texts to titles that stand out. Annotations should be concise, and bullet points should be used to enumerate items.

A Cool Guide To How Often You Should Wash Your Clothes
Bras? Heavens no, this is underwear and if I sweat over them an entire day, they go in the basket. They are close to armpits, so no way using them twice
For me, totally depends on the weather and my physical activity. Cold winter days, not much or no sweating, I'll wear them 3-5 days. Hot summer days, lots of sweating, I wear them one day.
Load More Replies...Formal dresses do not need to be washed after every wear unless you spilled on them. Nor do silks.
I think it's the idea that you probably won't wear it again for awhile, so if it isn't cleaned any sweat, dirt etc will essentially soak into the fabric and possibly damage it while it's stored. You wouldn't pack away a sweaty t-shirt, right? Same principle. As for silk I was taught that it needed cleaning more often because it's a thin, natural fabric and any stains (sweat etc) can be permanent if you don't wash/dry clean it.
Load More Replies...I wore a nice bra to the salon to get my retouch and highlights and to stop at the grocery store to pick up wine and chocolate. Yes, spoiling myself a little but also grilled husband burgers for dinner. Max 4 hours on a pleasant day not sweating. Not washing the bra yet. I have at least 20 bras for all different occasions. Work out, working in the yard…there’s rules for different bras.
Underwear gets changes every day while bras and the rest of my outfit get change every 2 to 3 days.
Leggings should definitely be washed after one wear. They are skin tight 🤢 if you don't wash them every time.
To do something good for the environment, many items of clothing can also be aired out first instead of being washed. (I don't mean sweaty clothes or anything like that.)
Everyone knows that if you turn underwear inside out you can get 2 days out of them. Jeez....
Not just you... I was surprised at the notion of not just throwing clothes in the hamper when you take them off. We have washing machines and dryers now that use much less water, energy and soap to do their job - and correspondingly you may need to compensate for smellier or more heavily soiled laundry so no free lunch or savings by letting your clothes get dirtier before you wash them.

A Cool Guide To The Number Of Animals Slaughtered Per Day On A Global Scale
Is there a chart of how much meat per animal is tossed every day? Separate for "could not be sold" and "customer didn't eat it and forgot to use the freezer". Killing animals for food is not always and in general bad, but if you kill it, you have to eat it. Otherwise it is not only an economical stupid thing to do, but foremost a crime against animals and abusing nature.
