Equity is what the German health insurance system tries to achieve: Everybody pays the same % of their wages (14,7 if I am not mistaken) into the insurances, but everybody receives the treatment they need, independent from how much you put in. The system is not flawless, of course, because of many reasons. One of them is that higher wages can opt out (they may not return if the wages drop!) and lower wages are more impacted by a percentage than higher. The Dutch try a different approach, everybody pays the same for basic cover (no opt out).

Aluminium will not go away, since it's an inert metal (its affinity towards oxygen just creates protective layer, but otherwise it's the same thing). Good stuff with aluminium is that it's fully recyclable and reusable. But since it's cheap, we don't bother recycling it as much as we should...

I wore a nice bra to the salon to get my retouch and highlights and to stop at the grocery store to pick up wine and chocolate. Yes, spoiling myself a little but also grilled husband burgers for dinner. Max 4 hours on a pleasant day not sweating. Not washing the bra yet. I have at least 20 bras for all different occasions. Work out, working in the yard…there’s rules for different bras.

I wash my hats, gloves and scarves maybe 3 times per winter, unless they get dirty. Every 3-5 wears would be at least once a day. Who does that?

Leggings should definitely be washed after one wear. They are skin tight 🤢 if you don't wash them every time.

To do something good for the environment, many items of clothing can also be aired out first instead of being washed. (I don't mean sweaty clothes or anything like that.)

Everyone knows that if you turn underwear inside out you can get 2 days out of them. Jeez....

Is there a chart of how much meat per animal is tossed every day? Separate for "could not be sold" and "customer didn't eat it and forgot to use the freezer".
