Share on Facebookare we just going to ignore the fact that it is ridiculous when someone just jumps to the worst-case scenario for no reason? ffs, maybe they have such a good relationship (you know, with communication...) that she showed him the message! geez instagram-...074705.jpg
Yup. My partner would show me, before blocking the assface
Load More Replies...Please, from someone not living in the US culture, can someone translate for me the part where she asks him to please leave her in peace before the fiancé jumps in ? Because I don't see it. There is nothing wrong, IMO, with saying directly (although politely) to someone "Thanks for your attention, but I'm not interested" and, if it doesn't work (because he doesn't want to hear it) "Please leave me alone, I already told you I wasn't interested and I'm not going to change my mind" Men are confused when a woman is too nice, because they understand it as a "Tell me more !" I'd rather be perceived as a b***h by talking loud and clear, than harrassed endlessly just "to be nice"...
there is nothing wrong with being direct. i can think of 2 reasons some women don't go that route: 1. they are not strong enough to be that forceful; 2. they are more afraid of the repurcussions of doing so. Not sure if you know of our "restraining order" that the court system can issue, to keep a stalker/harrasser away from you. The victim goes before the court to request a PIECE OF PAPER that tells the perpetrator that they are not allowed within a certain amount of distance (for example, 500 yards) of the victim. Theoretically, if they know your schedule and have been following you, they are now not 'allowed' to. It also includes not being able to contact you via social media, telephone, or even by relaying messages through a 3rd party. I say all that to give background on this--it's only paper! and we have had more than our share of females end up dead at the hands of their stalker BECAUSE they got the restraining order! if that's not enough to make you leery of being direct...
