A huge amount to work- money- and time. All wonderful. BUT. I want to see a follow-up article - 5 years from now. How many are still alive? The history of such mass plantings is not only "not good"; its horrible. Frequently at 5 years, the survivorship can be under - 5 %. That's "five" percent. Not a typo. Many, many reasons; but EVERYBODY needs to fully know that "planting trees!!!!" does not mean- they will live. Somebody needs to watch- and tend. Water if needed. Keep the goats away. For years.
