Iluka London Seamlessly Fuses Wood With Acrylic To Create A Stunning Collection Of Modern Table Lamps
London based interior designer Sarah Webb and graphic artist Daniel Harder share a passion for beautiful design and an inherent desire to create unique, handmade products. Their love for the natural beauty of wood and the endless versatility of acrylic led them to explore the unlikely combination of two such contrasting materials. After years of experimentation using innovative techniques, Iluka London was born.
Iluka means ‘close to the sea’ in Aboriginal and is a coastal town in Australia, where Dan grew up. Much of their wood is also sourced from Australia as it boasts some of the most beautiful in the world.
They take pride in producing one-of-a-kind pieces in small numbers, all hand-made here in Britain using the highest quality materials and craftsmanship. The wood is carefully sourced by Dan and Sarah, designing and crafting each piece at their workshop just outside London. Their range is evolving regularly, so please follow Iluka London on social media or sign up to the mailing list if you would like to receive updates on new stock.
There is a lamp on display available to view at South Kensington Gallery situated in The Exhibitionist Hotel, SW7 2EA, London. If you would like to see any others or have any queries regarding bespoke orders, please contact them here.
