22 Adorable Pet Portraits In Disney Style By This Artist (New Pics)
Interview With ArtistLet's face it, each of our pets is the main character, and they should be treated as such. However, it's up to you to decide whether they are Disney material or not. If your answer is "hell YES!" well, then Alessia Ciullo, an Italian artist/illustrator, is the one you are looking for, since she specializes in reanimating pets in the style of Disney.
Previously, the artist shared how she started to reanimate pet pictures: "I never had drawn pets before, as I mainly focused on people and fantasy characters. I gave it a shot, I tried to draw him in Disney style since it looked 'simple' for a beginner, and I shared the result on Reddit. People loved it and they immediately asked me if I could draw their pets too (paid, of course). That’s how everything started."
So, without further ado, let's explore Alessia's latest works.

Bored Panda once again reached out to Alessia, who told us how long it takes for her to complete one image from start to finish.
“It depends on how many pets each drawing features, as well as the kind of background. Averagely, I am quite fast, I’d say 2-3 days.”
We were wondering what inspired the artist to choose Disney as her artistic style of choice. Alessia responded: “Realism was never part of my artistic path, to be honest, I have always struggled with that. So I thought that Disney style could be the best style to learn, not only because it’s easy to depict (despite it still requiring basic anatomy knowledge), but also because we all love what’s cute. So I gave it a try, and I never expected it could’ve blown up this way!”
Alessia also wrote what she hopes owners of her redrawn pictures will take away from her work: “I hope they can see the effort and passion I put behind every drawing to make them unique for each person.”
She added by sharing a moment when a response to her art deeply touched her.
“In general, I am always touched when I get positive feedback from a commission, but what makes me feel even prouder is when owners whose pets passed away get emotional. I feel even more responsible because it means they trust me and my art enough to let me depict their fur friends who crossed the rainbow bridge.”
Lastly, Alessia added: “I finally have my personal website that people can order from (besides checking out my IG).”
Ah, Akira looks so much happier with a collar with no spikes...
I love it when dogs have those intense pale blue eyes that make me think of lightning
