What do Marie Curie, Che Guevara, Albert Einstein, and Mata Hari have in common? Well, they all struggled with spells of unemployment during their otherwise incredible lives.

Einstein couldn’t land a teaching job despite having stellar recommendations from his uni. Che Guevera was struggling to get a physician’s job. Frida Kahlo didn’t go that far as she couldn’t finish her medical degree due to a bus accident. Mata Hari endlessly switched between modeling, singing, and circus gigs, while Marie Curie was struggling to secure financing for her research. Even someone as great as Leonardo da Vinci once wrote a resume (and credited for inventing it as a concept) to get a gig with the Duke of Milan.

Wondering how da Vinci’s resume could look? We were curious too!

So we decided to see how these 6 people wrote their resumes today if they were after a new job. Using a mix of biographical data, current resume design best practices, and a bit of humor, we wrote 6 compelling resumes for 6 famous people. You can also read each copy individually on our blog!
