I Worked With A Dancer To Produce Nude Photographs In Industrial Settings (nsfw)
If you are offended by the female body, please don’t look at this post or follow the link!
I worked with dancer Jorgie Mason to produce figurative photography. We did two photo shoots, one in a warehouse in Charlotte North Carolina (United States) and an industrial setting in Charleston, South Carolina. I wanted to capture the energy that she exhibited and chose images of her leaping. I processed the images to make the skin tone warm and the backgrounds cool; this helps the body stand out and appear more vibrant. I used the images for a series of limited edition prints and in photo books.
These images are from my Industrial Nudes theme: Urban exploration meets art nudes. The nude form set against unnatural environments of concrete, metal, and grit.

Glass block window
In a borrowed painter’s studio, Jorgie Mason filled this small space with her energetic posing. A glass brick window serves as backdrop.
Jorgie’s posing instinct was unbridled. This session was full of movement, including several airborne maneuvers.
In the theme of color contrast, the ice blue bricks of the window stand out distinctly from her bronze skin.
