I Was Diagnosed With ‘Schizophrenia’ Amongst Other Things, And I Created A Black Comedy Cartoon Book About The Absurdities Of Psychiatry!
I am an artist, public speaker, human rights awarded autobiographer, illustrator, musician and I feel I have worn many ‘hats’ in my life!
I was also diagnosed with, (wait for it), schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar, panic disorder, drug-resistant depression, ADHD, PTSD, and I have lived a very colourful life and I am happy despite my ‘troubles’.
One of my side projects apart from my art, public speaking, and writing was a comic book titled ‘The SHRINK! …and you thought you were crazy!’
I wrote it out of frustration with the ‘cult of psychiatry’, and these days I am completing my PhD, which utilises the concept and holistic methods of ‘shamanism’ which unlike psychiatry is loving and advocates for holistic spiritual emotional and physical wellness, and leans away from the destructive labels of diagnostic labels, pills appointments and the exchange of vast amounts of money fuelling drug companies bank balances.
I must say I think its best to do whatever works for you, but just beware that each method has its limitations, indeed homosexuality was seen as a disorder until the 1970s!

That's... disturbing. If you doubt in your schisophrenia, it's even more disturbing. I have an uncle with schisophrenia and I guess he would draw something like this as well. I guess I'm not sick enough to get it, I trust my psychiatrist and the pills are helping me to funcion instead of feeling like I'm dying.
