Belgium’s Les Ardentes Festival invited me to be their stage presenter, so why not do it in disguise? I tried to be a different persona for every artist, some more successful than others. Equally, some bands loved it and some were less than appreciative, but with big names like Iggy, Morrissey, Pharrell and a host of others, it wasn’t your regular day in the office that’s for sure. Festival photographer, ‘Goldo’ was on hand to capture the mayhem. Here are some of the best.

Brian Droid

Brian Droid was born and grew up in St Helens in the North West of England. After a brief spell at art school he co-created the Dead Fly music studios. He was a founder member of psychedelic rock group Poisoned Electrick Head, playing and recording with them for twelve years. In 1999 he moved To Belgium and stumbled into teaching. He continues to record and perform music as 'Android 80' and 'The Loved Drones' and is an illustrator, cartoonist, master of disguise and the author of five books - 'Take Your Protein Pills (The Poisoned Electrick Head Story)', 'Battle of the Bands, 'Tales from Under the Floorboards', 'Droid's Discs' and 'X'.He lives by his wits in Liège, Belgium with his wife Claire.

Hey there, Pandas! My name is Diana (though some prefer to refer to me as Diane, Deanna, and even Liana sometimes), and I am a Community Post Moderator Lead for Bored Panda. As my position title states, I am one of the people (employed Pandas for bamboo) over here who work with the community side of things on this website to ensure all is well, and while at that, I also help various creators and artists get recognition for the incredible work they do by connecting them to a large worldwide audience. The Homer Simpson look is terrifying! How long did it take you to put on the makeup and costumes for these?

It depended on the look, the Bowie took the longest, but Homer is quite easy really.
