I Want To Tell My School About My Verbally (And Sometimes Physically) Abusive Parents, How Should I?
I want the school to know about my parents, however I'm scared to tell the school, my parents don't hit my siblings and I enough to send us to the hospital, but I've gotten several death threats from my father and I'm terrified. If my mom isn't there to hold him back and remind my father he could go to jail, my dad goes haywire, he throws a tantrum like a kid and starts yelling at us and sometimes hitting us. My mom doesn't hit us as often but she does verbally abuse me, and lot of what she said stuck with me, I'm afraid of loud noises and terrified of speaking my mind because of them. To people who reported their parents, how did you do it?

If your in the US (I think it's not just my state) if you tell any adult over the age of 18 that is a state/school system employee, they are required by law to report it to the authorities, or even if they suspect something. If you tell a teacher something (doesn't have to be a full on explanation, just say you feel unsafe at home) they will try to help. Good luck!
School counselor is a great choice. Or you can even make an anonymous call to child services… I’m not sure how much help they are but they’re supposed to be there for this exact reason.
