I Used Wrapping Paper, Recycled Notebook Paper, Textured Paper And Scrapbook Paper To Make 5 Bullet Journals And Sketchbooks For Loved Ones This Holiday Season

It all started when I realized I leave notebooks with quality paper unused if I find that they are bound into covers reminding me that they are high school books -that part of my life was full of teenage angst I’d rather forget.

So I cut out the paper, watched some tutorials online, namely those published by Sea Lemon on YouTube, and sewed them into functional hardcover notebooks.

I was starting to have fun binding my own books – the possibilities! So I decided since that I would practice book-binding until I produce quality books to give to people who I know would appreciate it.

I used everyday household items such as gift wrapping paper from Pick n’ Pay, super glue, needle and thread, a ruler, thin ribbons, and eventually took help from a cutting mat and craft knife to make the books.
