I Used My Easter Boredness To Create This.

Starting with my Easter boredness, I decided to cut up a random piece of wood in my grandfather’s backyard. I cut it up and sanded the pieces. I did it with various branch sizes. After that this lovely lady at a Nursing home I volunteer at decided to give me these old canvases of her fathers. So of course I started to work on a new piece! What came of it was fabulous! I started immediately gluing down the pieces of wood and filling in the gaps with paper that I had quilled. I quilled and quilled away. Gluing down various types of colored paper. I also used random found objects, plastic packaging, acorns, nut shells, toilet paper rolls, bottle caps and such. I added some embroidery, wool pieces and paint to make it even more colorful and textured! @thewanderingkitty is my instagram which has a bunch of my other artwork!
