It seems I have begun a “Marble Cinematic Universe” using photos of marbles on my coffee table. Shooting marbles to look like planets was step 1. Step 2 was to add color to the black nothingness of space.
Using some baby powder sprinkled on a glass coffee table and some coloured light, I was able to re-create the amazing colours you see inside deep space nebulae.
An underexposed image of some bubbles provided the stars in the background… just add variations and the possibilities are endless!
