My name is Costa Magarakis, I was born in Greece but I now live in a Shoe Galaxy some “step years” away…
I make shoe sculptures because I believe each shoe has its own personality and a story to tell. Most of the people think that I use the shoes themselves for my sculptures, but that’s not precise.
Each shoe undergoes a special long taking process that will make it suitable for molding. The final product is made of reinforced stone hard resin and is one of a kind. I find inspiration almost everywhere but the Victorian era is my favorite.
