My name is Lara Pellicano and i’m an italian make up artist; I made this performing video with the help of the photographer Giovanni Albore because I wanted to explore possibilieties in human body doing a sort of camouflage.
I would like to spend time telling you how i was inspired doing this but the truth is that there’s not properly a story behind this work or a deep meaning: sometimes you just need to express yourself, it’s like breathing and you don’t need to know why you’re breathing (other than staying alive of course!).
It took me about 3 hours to complete this piece and the model was in this really uncomfortably position throughout the whole modeling! She was great! And i’m really thankful to her!
