I found an old chair on the side of the road with a sign taped to it saying: “the universe provides freely”…perfect opportunity for a splatter chair! After hauling it home and setting up a controlled area I began throwing buckets/bottles of watered down paint at it. The result is a functional, abstract art piece filled with “happy accidents” and splashes of color. Because the acrylic paint is watered down it soaked into the fabric before it dried…and yes, you can sit in it like a normal chair!

Thanks! and that's what a lot of people think, but I assure you it is fully dry and functional lol. I can sit on it and read a book and nothing sticks or flakes off. It's part of the fabric now, especially once I use a waterproof sealer!
