When getting on a plane, most people tend to think of how excited they are about getting to their destination. I, on the other hand, constantly remind myself that humans don't fly naturally and that's when the nervous sweats begin.
The idea of being locked inside a sealed container rushing through the sky and soaring above the ground at thousands of feet brings immense anxiety to me. I've always enjoyed drawing as a way to ease my mind, so I decided to give it a try on the plane and at the airport as a way to deal with my fear of flying. The result has been truly magical, now not only do I forget about my fear of heights whilst flying, but it has also helped me enjoy my travels so much more and it serves as a constant motivation to keep sketching wherever I go.
