My journey in the art industry began when I was 10 years old, I started hand painting Warhammer models and was instantly hooked by the level of detail needed to paint these miniature figures. It was my first taste at discovering my passion and allowed me to enter into a flow state, where it was only me and the art.


Once I grew up, I had a career in boat building but never forgot my passion. This is where I created Jack of the Dust. At first it was small, selling skulls at markets on weekends. I then took the plunge and created an online store. As popularity began to rise, it allowed me to leave my job and do what I love full time. I now ship to cities all over the world!



5 years later, and I am creating new pieces for the public every month. It fills me with joy and passion to bring these creations out.

Venompool Skull

Here is the newest piece, the Venompool.
The Venompool is traditionally hand sculpted in clay and then cast in 3 different pieces with SFX grade polyurethane plastic. It is then hand painted and this lengthy process gives you the end result below.

This piece is a follow up on the Venom skull; which was given a lot of love on Instagram with over 80’000 likes and the first limited release completely sold out in under a week.
