I Draw Minimalist Comics About My Mental Health To Help People Feel Less Alone (35 Pics)
I've been making and posting webcomics about my mental health struggles for a few years now. Anxiety, depression, and some other mental problems. But they have always been three-panel, text-post comic strips without visuals. I've just never been able to do cartoon drawings of any sort.
A few months ago, however, I started drawing anyway, just pen on paper, and have since made daily relatable comics about everything from indecisiveness to issues with body-image. Other topics include perfectionism, insomnia, paranoia, on and on.
I post a lot on Instagram, and people have really responded. It's been so nice. I'm filled with gratitude. I hope I can keep making things that resonate with people and that help them feel less alone with their mental issues.

I feel this. My friends and family literally get scared and confused when I go outside. I usually leave the house maybe once a week for groceries and thats it. I have literally gotten confused and scared questions from friends and my own mother when I go outside coz its just that rare.
I’m an Art Teacher and I have a student who is highly anxious. I’ve loved watching his progress the past two years, having his confidence grow as he applies himself to his work. He used to ask me literally every 5 minutes if what he is doing is right, or OK. Now, he might ask once a lesson and often says he is proud of his work 😊
I think wisdom evee is tryna make another prompt, so imma reply instead of downvote. "this isN'T fake"
A big thanks to my best friend and boyfriend - for staying close, always. I owe you my life
