I Traveled To Romania In Winter To Capture The Beautiful Nature And Old Traditions (26 Pics)
From a photographic perspective, Romania stands out through its picturesque landscapes, fascinating communities of people and intriguing traditions brought to life.
This winter we got many different views of Romania, from landscapes covered in a sparkling blanket of snow to medieval towns that came to life with the festive Christmas atmosphere. At the same time, we had many instances of “brown winter”, which was just a different kind of beautiful and we also managed to capture the locals celebrating customs and traditions the old way.
What a joy to the eyes is winter in Romania! See it for yourself in the pictures below.

The train is called mocanita, it's now available in short routes, for tourists, one is in Bucovina, and one in Maramures. There are much more to see, come visit later!
I visit Romania 2 years ago and I had the fortune to try the Mocanita in Maramures. It was an incredible experience, the train went inside a peaceful forest and there were also restoration point where people could try delicious traditional foods. I think Romania in underrated as holiday destination, I found Romania warm and really interesting (and also less expensive than the majority of the Europen destination).
