I Spent Many Hours Scuba Diving To Photograph Moray Eels On Cleaning Stations.
My Name is Daniel Sasse, I’m an award-winning underwater photographer. I protect, defend and conserve the marine environment. With my pictures, I want to show people how beautiful but also how fragile the underwater world is all at the same time. It is so important to protect our oceans because every second breath you take is produced by oceans.
Brushing your teeth in the wild is so much easier just open your mouth on the right spot and transparent cleaner shrimps as well as streaked cleaner wrasse will do their job. This is called a symbiosis where both of them profit. The cleaner picks out food scrapes and has its daily meal and the Moray gets its teeth cleaned. Sometimes this even works with scuba divers.
The Pictures are very hard to take due to the fact that all three objects are moving constantly Cleaner, Moray and Photographer.
To take these pictures, I used a Sony NEX7 Camera in an underwater housing with 2 external strobes. These are the best pictures of the last 4 years scuba diving in the Andaman sea, Thailand.
