October 2017 I decided to participate in Inktober. This is a trend online where artists follow a list of daily prompts and draw images in ink then share online with the hashtag Inktober. I had never worked with ink before and half way through found myself lagging behind and not very enthusiastic to finish. I happened to borrow season one and season two of The Magicians on DVD from my local library. I spent an entire day binge watching The Magicians and catching up on days and days of missed Inktober prompts, naturally combining them with elements from The Magicians. What followed next was an entire year of fan art exclusively for The Magicians.
