I Spent A Whole Day In The Frozen Woods To Capture This Magnificent Winter View Of The Nearby Hills

It’s a rare occurrence when the forest is wearing such enchanting colors, so I jumped at the opportunity and get there to eternalize that.

The forest retained its beauty all day, because of the cold, -5 degrees Celsius. Only the narrow gauge broke the silence sometimes.

I've loved trains all my life, and I'm astonished at how you've captured their beauty, wonder, and fascination in a fabulous winter setting. Thank you for posting these!

Actually, I was wrong. Its the small-gauge in the Budai mountains. Google "gyermekvasut" and it will be the first hit.

Uh...hills? I didn't see hills. I'd venture to say you, sir, are what we used to call a 'foamer', also known as a railfan. Nice shots of trains though. I used to work on a railroad in Alaska. NOT the Alaska Railroad, it was the one that came first -- in 1898. White Pass & Yukon has two steamers they bring out for railfan tours in the summer and other occasions. Try it out next year when you visit Skagway, Alaska.

The light covering of snow on the trees gave these photos a very beautiful look.
