I Spent A Month Creating This Composite Picture – Girl Chilling On The Moon
When I want to decompress, I close my eyes and try to design a picture in my head that I want to create. Fairytales and stories inspire me.
I had this photo in my mind for several months but I didn’t know where to shoot it. By accident I found this small river just 1 km away from my house! I took my cameras with me and shot the photo, while my other camera was filming a behind the scenes video. I wanted the photo to be shot in a green forest but it was May, and in Finland it wasn’t that green yet. Oh well, had to shoot it because many times for me it’s now or never!
It was during the corona and I had a problem with finding the model because I didnt want to meet people just for fun. At first I planned on photographing myself with a timer, but I wanted the model to have longer hair. So I waited a few weeks and then got the courage to ask my model (with whom I once had a photoshoot 2 years ago.) I took photos of her sitting on my round terrace swing so she would have a bent back. I still wasn’t sure how I wanted her to be, so I decided that in Photoshop later by taking a hand from another photo etc.
I love Photoshop because you can do almost anything with it. That’s also a problem because I had a hard time finishing this photo due to all the possibilities! But here it is and I hope you like it!
