I Spent 14 Months – 380 Hours Total – Drawing Eddie Vedder With A Common Bic Ballpoint Pen
I’ve been drawing with ballpoint pen for a few years now, but I bit off a little more than I could chew with this one. I estimated it would take me around 6-8 months to finish this one, but all those details in the leather jacket took way longer than I’d anticipated. And the background was well more challenging than I thought it would be. At any rate, it’s done now and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. I think I’m going to hang up the ballpoint now though. It’s a lovely medium, but also cruel and unforgiving haha. Call me a perfectionist (many have..) but I like to erase and fix my mistakes! So back to the charcoals I go, at least for awhile. Thanks for looking ;)
