Meet Warrior, one of the most extraordinary little creatures we’ve ever known.
Warrior was rescued from a factory and was badly injured when he was brought in. He had been caught in one of the forklift trucks, so we needed to rush him to the vet immediately. The wounds covered most of his body, so we bandaged him up and put him on heavy antibiotics, but it seemed like a hopeless situation. Warrior, however, had no intention of giving up.
Over the weeks that followed, he fought with fierce determination. He was bandaged twice a day, hand-fed and was kept on medication for 3 weeks. Warrior seemed to gain super-kitten strength when we introduced him to another kitten, Butterfly, who became his best friend. These two played together as Warrior continued to get stronger, and after about 4 months Warrior was fully recovered.
We are so proud of this gutsy little kitten who we eventually homed with a lovely couple

I found this little guy stuck in a machine in a factory
He was wounded and needed on the clock care and bandage changes
His little body was riddled with injurys
We were sure that he was not going to make it, but despite the odds things started to get better
This little guy had the will and strenth to push through
He fought even though the whole upper part of his body injured
We decided that Warrior was a suitable name for this little kitten
We spent a lot of time and money on his recovery, believing that every little life counts
All the kittens come and go at The Kitten cottage but this little guy stole everyone’s hearts away
We found him a furr-ever home with a sweet couple who have a lot of love to give him

Share on FacebookWhat a perfect name for him and a lovely story. I have two rescue kittens - Stevie Mouse that I rescued at four weeks old, I found her blind and drowning in a puddle and she is now my angel at just over a year old. Her sister Emmy I found at eight weeks old disabled from an epileptic fit. We now have her epilepsy under control though she has some brain damage and Stevie Mouse looks after her. I am writing a book about Stevie called 'I am Stevie Mouse'. I have had lots of cats but some really get you - a bit like Warrior I guess.
