So the other day I saw this giant praying mantis on my French doors. It looked like it was about to fall.

So I went inside my house and got a plastic bowl, and tried to get it to crawl in. At first it wouldn’t budge…

…but then it crawled onto the side of the bowl and we took it to my garden and set it free.

It’s now safe in the wild (aka probably somewhere in my garden).

I've done this before, it's nice to see someone else that isn't disgusted like me. It's spelled 'Mantis' btw

She is that large because she is full of eggs. Late summer, she is looking for a bush w hard bark to put the foamy egg nest on.
