Damselflies heads are tiny, just about 3 milimeters width. In the first video you will see two of them in high magnification, but not a still shots, but a video.
I used a 60/2.8 macro lens, extension tubes and extender to capture a moment when blue damselfly cleans herself. Second one stared at my lens and she flew.
Damselflies and dragonflies are very skittish, but if you have a experience in macro photography (I needed 2 seasons to know how to make these kind of photos and videos) then you will see something beautiful and interesting.
