My family had a booth at a local flea market almost every day during the summer a couple years back. We make jewelry, and our main thing is taking old/broken/odd jewelry and remaking it. One day my brother goes out wandering and comes back with a large box marked "random jewelry- $20." 3 months of sorting and cleaning later, we have 4 or 5 decent necklaces, about 50 matched pairs of earrings, a pile of solo earrings I turned into pendants, and a bunch of random jewelry-making components. That box will probably be worth upwards of 10X what he paid for it once we use up all the pieces.
