I remember being a little girl, in my small town in Karkonosze Mountains. There was a flower shop, I suppose the only one in town back then, run by a weird, amazing, fascinating woman. Well, in my mind she was like that. Original hairstyle, colourful clothes, mysteriuos pendants and this fairy-like aura. I used to think that she is a real flower-fairy. That she possesed mystic knowledge about flowers and plants in general, that she could communicate with them, cast spells on people and stuff like that.

I am a wedding photographer, but I love portreting people the most. This has been my biggest passion for years. One day I met my old friend. We talked a while and then she reminded me about study time and her first job as a florist. I suddenly felt so inspired and my heart started to beat so intensively – I knew what my next project could be about! That moment I decided to go around Wroclaw city, where I currently live, and step in every flower shop encouraging people to take part in this project. I wanted to depict them as flower fairies, mystic people with special knowledge and powers who can magically transform into someone from beyond. Many people refused – they were shy or had no time for that. But eventually I was so blessed to meet and work with my amazing models. The project was interrupted by Corona Virus unfortunately. But I managed to photograph 10 absolutely fantasic humans. With every photosession, I tried to tell a story about a flower fairy, unique, majestic, in her or his natural surroundings (every time it was the flower shop they worked in). I wouldn’t make it without the help of my dear friend, super talented make-up artist Hanna Zygmanowska! Behold! And meet my Flower Fairies :)
