You better watch out

You better not cry

Better not pout

I’m telling you why

Santa Claus is homeless in town!

Bad news, folks! There is a place where Santa is homeless and people avoid him on the streets. He has no money, no clothes, no reason to smile. And he’s not the only one in this situation. Famous actors, singers or TV-stars are in the s(h)ame spot. We’re talking about Romania, where we’ve found Santa and also this wonderful campaign of Horia Manolache, a Romanian photographer.

The campaign “It could have been me!” aims to help the Romanian homeless people to reintegrate into society. People can donate money or any kind of help for the homeless ones. You can see all the photos here www.viatadinsensopus.ro and donate if you want. It’s for a noble purpose, it’s for Santa. Let’s save this Christmas together!

Horia Manolche is the artist who also photographed homeless people in San Francisco as they are and as they dreamed to become – “The Prince and the Pauper”.

“It could have been me!“ is about offering the (homeless) people the chance to start over again, to fight for a better life, to get a job, a purpose, a reason to smile. Home is not some staircases, railway stations, parks or dumpsters. The homeless people are not homeless by choice, but by chance. Let’s change that TOGETHER. As Obama said “Our stories may be singular, but our destination is shared!”
