In my daily life, I work with older people and love it. They have great stories and personalities and much knowledge. However, I found out, that the image of older people in society is pretty negative. Comments I hear, are that they are ‘grey’ and boring, and do nothing with their lives. Of course this may be true for some older persons, like it will be for some younger persons. But definitely not for most of the older persons! There is no group more diverse than the group of older persons. With this photoproject I want to question and change this incorrect view and show the beauty of older people in a fun way.
