I Construct Worlds, From Small Bits Of Our World

Crafted from individual pieces of natural stone, left over from masonry projects such as patio construction and dry stone wall building. I call these dry stone spheres Lithadelic Sculpture.

    Eco. These cairn-like sculptures are built from natural stone, usually fit together without any mortar or glue.

    Some, like this sphere at a public park, will have some glue and/or mortar, protecting from vandalism or mishap.

    Others are fully dry stone. Nothing but stone all the way through, held together by gravity.

    I shape each stone by hand…

    …and carefully fit them into place

    And always climb them, immediately after finishing.
