When I received a gift of a fallen leaf from my son, it inspired me to try and preserve this tiny piece of nature.
I was intrigued by the possibilities provided by painting on the delicate ephemeral canvas of the leaf. The leaves are preserved but only time will tell when they will break down as nature intended.
