I’ve Been Making My Halloween Costumes Out Of Paper For The Past 6 Years
Did you know that 43,000,000 costumes are destined for landfill in the USA alone this Halloween? That’s 15,000 metric tons of store-bought costumes that are made from 90% non-perishable plastic.
In 2013, I began helping people make Masks and costumes out of recyclable card as an alternative to buying pre-made plastic outfits. Six years on, our small team of family and friends continue to help thousands of people from all over the world make costumes they can be proud of from recyclable materials.
Here are the new animal skull headdress I designed for this Halloween. Each one takes weeks to design but only a few hours to make and is made entirely from paper.
