I've been working in metal art for a few years now, and I LOVE to scour old farmsteads, flea markets and junkyards for rusty parts I can use in my work.

I decided to start a series of Barnyard Portraits to bring some of this farm rust 'back to life'.

I also make the glass eyes, which are custom made for each piece.

This donkey has saw blades for hair! It took me a while to bent two shovels into ears, but they work perfectly.

I don't usually paint my work, as I love the rusty metal look, but I made an exception for this guy.
