I rescued my foster cat Coco Bean at the beginning of April. A kind young woman found her as a stray, and brought her into a vet clinic. The vets found that she was pregnant at only eight months old, and contacted me to see if I could take her in. Of course, I readily agreed.
Coco’s two kittens were born on May 18, and they have since grown up and been adopted. However, adult kitties are harder to find homes for, and no one has been interested in taking Coco. I only have a few more weeks to find a home for her until I go back to college, so I made tiny hats for her to wear in hopes of catching the eye of her future forever family!

Coco Bean is trying to catch the eye of her furever family by wearing fancy hats
Coco is gentle and loving. She has taken to sitting on my lap and rubbing her face on me while purring loudly as I pet her. She will often come next to me on the bed and sleep with me at night.
Yeehaw! Coco is ready to giddy-up into your heart!
She is still under a year old and she LOVES playing. I tied this butterfly toy onto the wire of another toy that fell apart, and she’s been enjoying chasing that around. She also likes the cat dancer and catnip toys.
The chef will prepare your biscuits for you now
Her favorite, though, is when the toy hides under some sort of blanket or towel and she can pounce on it from above. I have this automatic feather toy that goes around in a circle under a sheet, and she LOVES that.
Coco the Party Cat
When I’m not in the room, I usually find her looking out the window or lounging on top of the cat tree.
Coco is ready to graduate from foster care
She would love to be someone’s one and only kitty.
Coco the Queen
She is inquisitive and confident, and really wants to get out and explore.
Ahoy mateys! Let us freebooters set sail!
She is fostered in Richmond, Virginia so please apply online if you are local and interested in adopting her!
