I love Pokémon. So much so that I decided to laboriously cut up 35 sheets of coloured paper for two weeks to make scenes depicting my favourite three starter Pokémon, Squirtle, Charizard and Bulbasaur. But I didn’t want anyone to miss out on having their favourite starter in the scene so I included all of the starters from other regions in the second layer of each piece, look closely and you might find yours! My goal was to create a miniature 2D world in which these paper Pokémon could live, the hardest part was trying to keep each one simple but also detailed enough to create depth
