I Made Father’s Day Illustrations In Support Of “Black Lives Matter” Movement.

Hello, I am Debanjana, and I go by Ardour Art. I am a creative soul with varying interests, from graphic design, illustration, architecture to photography.

In this Father’s Day series, I have attempted to pay my tribute to George Floyd and support the cause of “Black Lives Matter”. I believe all of our dads are Heroes – even though they do not wear any capes like Superman or possess any extraordinary power. They might all be black, or they might look all different, but their hearts are all the same. George Floyd was also one of those fathers who is the hero of this movement.

My illustrations are all straightforwardly made with simple geometric shapes using free mobile apps so that anyone can learn or can start digital drawing without any prior knowledge of painting or illustration. I have also posted the video of my process on my YouTube channel if you are interested.

Vėjūnė is a community manager who helps artists all over the world introduce their artwork to Bored Panda readers and in that way, become more popular. Since she was always fascinated by the art world, she studied Culture Management and Cultural Policy at Vilnius Academy of Arts where she expanded her knowledge about it. Now she's using all this knowledge to showcase its beauty and help others dive into the fascinating world of art.

Vėjūnė is a community manager who helps artists all over the world introduce their artwork to Bored Panda readers and in that way, become more popular.
