When I was young, I was unlike any other kid in our community — I was shy, weird, and I loved horror movies. Growing up in the Philippines, my sister and I used to watch a Halloween special called “Magandang Gabi, Bayan” (Good Evening, Nation). It’s a show where every year it features real-life ghost encounter stories of the Filipino people.
I took up arts in college and flash-forward the to late 2000s I started reading novels. The horror fiction I read was “Just After Sunset” by Stephen King and immediately got hooked on him. I bought several books by King and other horror/fantasy authors until my collection grew. My early favorites were “Carrie”, “Pet Cemetery”, and “Salem’s Lot”.
So here’s a series of character designs I did during my free time, and I wish to add more in the future when I get the chance.
