My Son Loves Vintage Cars, So I Made Him This Electric Replica From 20s
My son loves cars. Especially old, vintage ones from 20s. So I’ve made a wooden replica for him which actually works.
Here is step by step instruction of this project.
I made this electric car for my son
The frame is made from pine and oak
Pine because it is light and flexible wood (to suppress the vibrations) and oak because it is hard and strong one.
These are electronics and the engine – in fact, it’s not so hard to connect everything
Steering mechanism made from construction screws, oak and brake line
I’ve also applied several coats of paint
Making upholstery from artificial leather
Added some add ons (like bicycle lights, luggage and brake handle) and voilà!
