“There is a mountain range ahead of me. Sometimes the sun burns it, sometimes it rains rain, it is often wrapped by fog. It never complains, never waits for acknowledgment. It is always majestic and always gives itself away.” – L. Boff

Hi, I'm Tom. I love photographing mountain landscapes. For the last 15 years, I've been addicted to spending my all free time in high altitude remote areas, embracing nature at its best. Since my first visit, I started to collect my memories using digital and film cameras.

In 2019 I took a 120-mile trek to photograph one of the most dangerous mountain ranges in the world. My journey among the world's highest peaks allowed me to complete a series of black and white photographs capturing light and shadow over magnificent stone towers and unique displays of nature's capabilities.

Intense sun-burning stone needles, thunderstorms immersing rocky spires in tons of water and gentle fog putting them to sleep. Observing those rocky works of art, one can achieve a state of approximation to the absolute despite its unattainability.

Here are just a few images introducing you to the majesty of the Karakoram.
