I Have Spent The Past 2 Years Writing Crochet Patterns For Fantasy Creatures
Dragons, Unicorns, Mermaid Unicorns and now Pegasus, each pattern takes me months to write, perfect, test and publish. The final creatures are made with Yarn, Polyfil Stuffing, Safety eyes, and a few wires. I play with yarn today the way I used to play with Lego as a child. It is incredibly satisfying to give shape and depth to magical creatures. It’s even more exciting to put the patterns out into the world and then see what other people make from them. Who doesn’t want to hug a Dragon?

Pegasus
Writing the Pegasus Pattern took 3 months and the pattern is 200 pages long. The crochet-work creates all the shapes! Crochet is basically tying different knots, so this Pegasus is made entirely from different knots!

Pegasus
A Pegasus from this pattern is 13 inches tall from head to hoof, 12 inches long from nose to rump, 4.5 inches wide from shoulder to shoulder, and at least 14 inches from wing base to wing tip without stretching them out fully.
Rainbow Dragon
The Dragon Pattern took 5 months to write and was my first major under taking. This is actually one of the simpler dragons, but you can add scales or bellies or horns or spikes!

Dark Rainbow Dragon
A Dragon from this pattern is 12 inches tall from head to toes, with 18 inches nose-to-tail, and 24 Inches from the tip of one wing to the other.
Juvenile Fairy Dragon
This is a simpler, more youthful, Juvenile Dragon featuring iridescent Fairy wings! The Juvenile Dragon pattern took about 2 months to write. The Wings are handmade from Wire, Glue, and Iridescent plastic that I melted with a Candle.

Mermaid Unicorn Hippocampus
This is a Hippocampus, or Half-Horse, Half-Fish – Unicorn style! This pattern took me 4 months of hard work. The yarn forms everything from the Tail to the Horn.

Rainbow Blue Dragon
This dragon was made with Epic-sized wings that span nearly 3 feet! I wrote this as an expansion to my original pattern, and it took me 2 months of work to perfect, test, and edit it.

Wingless River Dragon
Unicorn
This pattern took 3 months of work to perfect. It is a laying down Unicorn with a wire frame inside so that you can pose the legs and tail, and the horn stands straight.

Mermaid Unicorn Expansion
At the same time I was working on one Mermaid Unicorn, I wrote 5 more types of Fins. I published it at the same time as the original pattern as an add-on/expansion for people who want to be able to make their own completely custom Hippocampus.

Cat meets Dragon…
Cat *Boops* Dragon.
Yellow Dragon
Soon after completing the original Dragon Pattern, I had a lot of requests for alternate positions, and this is just one of the options – there were so many possibilities!!. I included a tutorial on how to wear your dragon on your shoulder also!!
You can find it here: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/add-on-dragon-more-front-legs

Rainbow Pegasus
Blue Green Mermaid Unicorn
Sunset Pegasus
Newborn Baby Dragon
The Juvenile Dragon was originally supposed to be a Baby dragon, but I knew I could make a more convincing infant dragon — and so the Newborn Dragon was born! It took me 3 months to write this pattern, and there are a ton of options for front and rear legs and positioning! It’s an easier pattern than many others, and it works up very quickly. The newborn dragons can fit in the palm of your hand.
