Hope you get a smile out of these. Each painting seemed to tell me a different story than intended – so I added text to reveal what I saw. (I respect the paintings, and placed the captions so as not to obscure the characters and details.)
And please – I’m not knocking it – Christmas really is a wonderful time of year. I see complete strangers being kinder, more cheerful, and ready to talk to each other in a way they never otherwise would. My best Christmas was in Sydney, 1983. As I traveled alone through that huge, usually unfriendly city, my heart lit up as, one after the other, *everyone* I met was cheerful and kind and – for a brief few hours – totally my friend.
May it always be so!!

Osram used many top-fight artists from the very beginning of its advertising drive. The images were all extraordinarily beautiful.
Which, I guess, is why I was reminded of those works of art in this.
The light really is beautiful.
